How strict is Royal Carribean regarding the age divisions in the kids clubs. I am traveling with 3 children - one will be 9 in four months, another is 9, and another just turned 12 last week. If I wanted the three of them placed together, in the 9-11 age range, would that be permitted?
They go by the ages of the children at the beginning of the cruise and don't make exceptions as far as I know. Exceptions make rules worthless, and then you have kids of all ages in the various programs just because X family wants their kids together. What if 100 families wanted the same deal? See what I mean?
There will be times that they are together for example when one age group only have 1 or 2 kids than they combine the groups. That happens alot at night and port days. There are also theme nights when they are together i.e. movie night, pirates night, etc.
Having just returned from my trip on the Independence, I would just like to point out that my 12 yr old daughter and friend were put off their club because it had a lot of the older age group there.
