Congratulations on your Five Golden Forks award, Dave. My goodness, having a mother who worked in a diner would have been my childhood dream! I was also raised on great diner food, but in NJ.
Looks like Fay won't be bothering you on Friday, so have a great trip and make sure you bring the Sovereign back in good shape for us (I heard how you like to party)!
MY mother worked in a Dairy Queen. She was able to bring home her mistakes. She often made a wrong size malt flavored with hot fudge very close to the end of her shift :-)

I'd be making a lot of "mistakes" if I got to bring them home! If my mother worked at a Dairy Queen, or better still, at Carvel, I'd have seen her a lot more often growing up!
cica,
we got back from the mariner on aug. 10th. The food was excellent. we are not food critics but have traveled carinval & was very disappointed. we only ate at windjammer (great variety) & formal dining room. No trips to the 'extra' restauarants. Didn't need it. We ate more than we usually do as most cruisers do I guess. But certainly less than a lot of people. Service, cleaniness, shows, weather, food - all excellent. we would go again with the same iteneriary. have fun. p.s. don't see the spell check icon.
Thank you Griffin! This side I share with my daughter why is 24 and she always worried that something is going to change. Problem is that we went last August with Liberty of the sea and this April with Sovereign og the sea, so it was big difference... Thank's Cica
