This website has many photos of the Freedom Of The Seas, taken during her promotional stops in Europe. Click on the pictures button on the left, then on the link for the Freedom, and look at the photo albums towards the bottom of the page.

I just posted a news release from Royal Caribbean on our CruiseNews Blog that provides details of her arrival in the New York Harbor and subsequent viewing opportunities. Here is a portion of the schedule for any posters that might be interested:

May 10* Big Ship in Big Apple: Freedom of the
Seas sails into New York Harbor at 8 a.m. and
then docks at Cape Liberty Cruise Port until
the evening of Thursday, May 11.

May 12* Showtime: Freedom of the Seas makes
her national debut live on NBC's "TODAY" show
while anchored off of the Statue of Liberty
for the three-hour broadcast. The ship will
return to Cape Liberty Cruise Port and then
dock in the afternoon in Manhattan.

May 13* New York, New York: The general
public can head to Manhattan until 4 p.m. to
get a close-up look at Freedom.

It is 28 days and a few hours until I board Freedom for the inaugural cruise. I got my docs yesterday and have already printed my SetSail pass. It is time to start getting jazzed!

Nancy,

I am so jealous of you and Sandy! Just don't eat and drink all the supplies, okay?

Yippee!! It is almost here. I got my cruise docs on May 4th. I am very excited, like you I'm sure. Try to think of a place where we can meet, and chat about cruising, and Freedom. We are staying at the Holiday Inn at the port the night before. We are flying in from Phoenix. We plan on eating dinner at Bayside Marketplace that night. See ya on deck. Lil' Lori

Dave, I forgot to thank you for the pictures of her. It is starting to feel real, like it is really, and FINALLY, going to happen. Thanks, Lil' Lori

No need to be jealous, my friend. You're the one who will be on Freedom for a week, and actually *go* someplace, to boot!

Lori,

We got hooked up with a bunch who have formed a pink boa society. Should be interesting to see dozens of ladies wearing pink boas on embark day. The men wear pink shirts. I'll get back with you on meeting up for a drink and such. We are staying in Coral Gables at the Hyatt Regency on the night before.
