I was asked by a friend about purchasing a suite stateroom with concierge service. He thought you could go to the concierge lounge in the evening and enjoy open bar. Does anyone know if this is true and if it is, what are the hours of operation for this open bar? Can't believe I did not enjoy this use before!!!
Thanks!

Depends on the ship... Some RCCL ships do not have a concierge. The ones that do offer concierge services provide complimentary cocktails. SonnyV is our resident RCCL guru and I am sure that he can shed more light on the subject for you.
Your friend can go to the concierge lounge for free cocktails, beer, Coca-Cola, wine, etc.; between 5pm and 8:30pm. All the Radiance class, and Voyager class ships have a concierge lounge. The Enchantment, which is a Vision class ship, has a concierge lounge also. It was added when they stretched the ship 70 feet. The concierge will also arrange for ice show tickets, excursions, and a list of other things that he or she will take care of for you.
Crown and Anchor Members with Diamond status can get this service also. Talk about a great perk...
Sonny, please correct me if I'm wrong but C&A Diamond members receive the service regardless of what cabin they book. Anyone purchasing a Grand Suite or above that is on a ship that has concierge service can use it. I'm not a diamond yet but I'm booking a GS for my trip to Panama.

Yes you are correct. You could book an inside cabin on deck 2 and still have the concierge service if you're a diamond member of the C&A society. Anyone staying in a Grand Suite or above get the concierge service, no matter how many cruise they have. What ship are you sailing on?
