We were assigned a room arbitrarily (we got the cheapest tickets that didnt require us to work for the cruise line). I'm not terrible esctatic about the location. Is there a chance they will upgrade us to a better spot by the time we pull away from the dock?
802 Couple - I am confused. You posted this question on both the Carnival and Royal Caribbean forums. What ship were you arbitrarily assigned a cabin? In either case, if you booked an assigned cabin you will not receive an upgrade unless you request one and pay the difference. Cabins that qualify for upgrades are those that are booked as category guarantees.
we are on the same ship. We also chose the cheapest option of let them assign a cabin. We are on deck 4 which I was happy with. it was much better than I thought we would get originally get. Looks like the weather is going to be posibly stormy, but we will be happy any way it comes.
