Return flight home from Vancouver

We are scheduled to arrive back to port in Vancouver at 7:00 a.m. from Alaska cruise in September 2007. There is a flight home leaving Vancouver airport at 11:20 am. Is this flight too early to schedule return trip home. Any suggestions appreciated.

It might be a little tight. You would have to be sure to be in the first group getting off the ship when it's cleared. There also is Immigration and airport security to consider.
Personally, I wouldn't do it.

I believe its too early. The airport is 40 minutes from the terminal if there is no traffic, but all it takes is a slowdown on one of the bridges and you're in trouble. Why put extra pressure on yourself to get off the ship?

Take an afternoon flight.

Better yet stay for a few days and spend some money here.

Don't chance it. Doing the same scenario in Fort Lauderdale these days - with the port just 10 minutes from the airport- is actually pushing it.
