Thank you for sharing your pictures of the Adventure with me. My those are some pictures.
I do have a question, that you can probably answer, or perhaps someone else that has been on the Serenade. Do they furnish robes? On Carnival they did. I was just curious. As I've said before once you have something you like, you don't like to have to go without.
I have been on a few Carnival cruises (7) and they only gave robes to returning guests, those in groups that had them prearranged, and those in Suites or above.
We got some free robes on the Freedom cruise in June. Our cabin attendant showed up one morning with two robes still in the plastic. They were gifts for some cabin and the occupants either never showed up or duplicate gifts were issued, I forget what he said other than he wanted us to have them. And yes, his tip reflected his kindness!
Ceemonster, in regard to the robes in RCCL, we were booked for a lower, inside cabin. Some way or another we wound up on deck 6, which an awesome room/window. You may be right in regard to the robes. I don't recall receiving them when we were RCCL twice before. We were not in a suite, but maybe you receive the robes when you are on a higher deck.
the promenade had some cabins with windows looking out on the noisy thouroghfare, up by the library were some chairs with a good view.
I liked the painter on the wall, once you walk it you will know what i mean.
