Now that we have booked our cruise on this much talked about ship I would be very greatful to hear from anyone who gets to see her or even gets to the launch party (how I would love to be there!)please post any comments and I will keep my eyes open for any news, good or bad, many thanks. If anyone knows if she is in Southampton docks just to get a peep at I'm not far from Southampton and could have a look myself maybe.

Mum, congrats on booking a cruise on Independence of the Seas. She'll be a fantastic ship, like her sisters.
We won't get our first glance or experience on Independence until late April or May 2008. As Independence will eventually be home ported in Southampton, you'll have easy access!
The Independence of the Seas won't be in the U.S. until November of 2008. She'll be in Europe until she does the Trans Atlantic from Southhampton. Then, in April of 2009 she'll do a Trans Atlantic back to Southhampton. So Mum, looks like you'll see her before we will.
