A slack-jaw rule of the road here in Alabama....people use their turn signals to indicate that the car in front of them is turning, then they turn them off and keep on going straight. I guess they think they are being polite. What they really are doing is being dangerous and stupid.
Yep, Dave, that is a weird trait that a lot of Alabamians have acquired. I have a Class A CDL and I am often carrying tankloads of gasoline. It's not a good idea to confuse me. The repercussions are quite horrific. You have to remember when a certain stretch of "malfunction junction" was closed due to a bad driver....
That trait and the other one of locking their brakes up at the first sight of a funeral procession - even on I-65. I guess the mindset is "well, even if some others die we can say we paid respects to those who died earlier".
All of these fools deserve to contract a permanent case of norovirus.
