sunscreen question

On our MOS cruise to Cozumel we are swimming with the dolphins- i hear there are rules about the type of sunscreen used due to harming the animals or something like that. Anyone know what kind is allowed or anything about this??

I did not hear anything about sunscreen. My family and I did that in Cozumel and no one ever mentioned a restriction on sunscreen. In fact I was putting sunscreen on my daughter's head (she had her hair braided in Labadee) right in view of the people explaining our upcoming swim with the dolphins. We had plain old sunscreen...nothing special. Hope this helps.

If you are speaking of Chankanaab, they just request that the sunscreen that you use be biodegradable.

They also check for what kind of oil base is used..... But I cannot remember what brand they suggested.

One tip would be look at the Xacarat website since they too have a restriction for exactly the saem reason. Maybe that will help.

That is why I always take my Clinique sunscreen with me... oil free and it's spray on.
