bug bed on ship

Has anybody have any problem with bugs bed on Mariner of the sea.I read some posts on this forum,and people talked about them,it creeps me out.I hope the ship doesn't have this problem.

Oh that is terrible! I wonder if there is something that you could take, some kind of bug spray or something?

I read several cruise boards and have seen no reports of bed bugs on Mariner.

We always check the mattress before we settle into a room. Look for dark brown spots in creases of the mattress cover...bang the headboad and look for "fall out". We have never seen bed bugs on any of our RCI cruises...we sleep like babies...

I have not heard of any problems of bed bugs. If you are worried about them all you have to do is check the mattress and sheet for them. I actually take the bed apart and look but mainly at hotels that is where they are really bad especially in south Florida. I live in the Port Canaveral area and I am actually in the Pest Control Industry and I have not ran into them here yet.

When we went on the Soverign of the Seas last week our cabin already had the new bedding. It sure made the beds better for sleeping on.

Thanks everybody for all the infomation. New bedding sounds so good! Hopefully, they have it on the Mariner by December.

I see you are in the pest business, so I was wondering what are we to do if we do find bed bugs in our sheets? Will just getting clean sheets get rid of the problem, or do they live in the mattress as well?
