Contemplation of 4-day from LA over Christmas on the Monarch. Deck plans show inside cabins only 119 sqft - outside only 122 sqft. Seems awful small to me. Has anyone had experience with these weeny cabins?

Hi Susan,

Yes, we had a weeny cabin experience on the Monarch. On a 4 night cruise it really didn't matter too much. The "Sovereign" class ships all have smaller cabins. We enjoyed our Monarch cruise very much. WEENY CABIN

No doubt it is really tight especially when there are three people in the cabin. We have been on the Monarch twice, the last time out of LA for 4 nights. We had the outside cabin all of 122 sq feet. You just tend to adapt to the size of the cabin.

We were on the Monarch when she was brand new, and it was our first cruise...We didn't have anything to gauge room size by..but now we look back and yes...it's SMALL....but what the heck, just adapt, don't bring a lot of luggage and you will have a great time....

After you empty out your luggage, check to see if it fits under the bed. That is where we usually store our empty luggage. It really helps to save on space. Enjoy the Monarch. Lil' Lori
