On a 7 day, it's USUALLY the second to the last night (if cruise started on a Sunday, it's Friday night) That's been the past three times we've been on Mariner. We've usually done Chop's on a Wednesday night.
Someone else will correct me if I'm wrong, which is usually the case.
Hope you have a great Cruise, and welcome to Cruise Chat!! You WILL be hooked!
I was on the Mariner a couple of weeks ago and the lobster night was Friday. You can find out for sure by asking any of the waiters on the first day of your cruise. You'll love Portofinos.
Yes you can do that. You'll have to cancel 24 hours ahead should you want to change anything. You can make reservations on line--you never know for sure, but there should be no problem booking on the first day.
I don't recall having lobster on the last 5 night cruise either. Lobster, to me, isn't as good as it used to be. It seems to be a little too salty for my taste. Does anyone have the same opinion?
I agree Sonny! I enjoy lobster but the made ahead of time/frozen tails they serve on ships doesn't thrill me. I normally do the prime rib instead. Although the lobster I had in Chops and in a Supper Club on CCL was very good (maybe because it was made to order???) BUT if you don't get the chance to eat lobster at home, why not enjoy!
merry Christmas everyone!
