I am wondering if there is a hurricane or tropical storm and the ship can't depart...do you get your money back even if you didn't purchase insurance? also....i leave in less than two weeks is it still possible to purchase insurance?

Yes, you will get your money back if they cancel the cruise. Last year we were suppose to board the Majesty when Wilma hit Miami. A few days prior Royal Caribbean offered a full refund. We took a chance that the hurricane would hold off until we got on the ship. We were wrong, and lost two days of our cruise. We did get a refund on those days. You can buy insurance this close to your sailing date, but it won't cover any pre-existing conditions. I would call your travel agent if I were you. It's best to buy insurance before your final payment is due. Hope this helps...

oh ok..so are you saying that even if we don't have insurance we should still get our money back if it's the weather? cause our final payment was alreay payed in july. but i will call my travel agent anways to see! thanks so much
