Is the balcony worth the extra money?

After having one on our cruise in July I couldn't imagine crusing without one.

I can not agree more. Make sure it is something you can afford ever after, because once you have one, you really can't do it any other way.
We got one once on Disney as a comp (too much kitchen noise-couldn't sleep!!!) and we went from Deck 1 with 2 lil portholes OO to a beautiful balcony where you could see for miles. We saw dolphins and whales...amazing! And nothing is better then keeping the slider open to get the fresh ocean breeze while you sleep and the sounds of the waves lapping against the hull.

Oh yes...definitely worth the extra dollars! Wouldn't cruise without one!
