Disembarkment excursion

Since we're due to come back to port by 8 am and our flight back home to Chicago doesn't leave till 4pm, we went ahead and booked the Everglades excursion they offer in Miami afterwards. This excursion supplies shuttle service to the airport after it is through and it states that the excursion can apply to anyone not flying domestically BEFORE 2 pm.

Think we'll make it? Anyone ever have trouble getting to the airport on time due to disembarkment excursions? I'm thinking they might allow those on this excursion off the ship first?

Yes, typically you will be let off the ship early with the others on the excursion, much like they do with excursions that are offered during the cruise.
