Superior Balcony vs Inside vs Suite

We've booked a superior balcony stateroom for July 8, Eastern Carib on Mariner. This is our first cruise and we wondered if we did the right thing. The price went down since we booked it back in December and took advantage of that. What are advantages/drawbacks of a balcony stateroom?

I don't know of any drawbacks to a balcony stateroom unless you are prone to jumping! Other than that, you should have a great time!! Balconies are a fantastic upgrade! Enjoy your cruise!!

The are plenty disadvantages of a balcony room starting with the pesky breathtaking view of sunsets and sunrises....sickening.

Then you get all this fresh air...who needs that?

And don't even get me started on the beautiful peaceful ocean stretching for miles.

No wonder they keep curtains on the windows

The worst day in a balcony suite is better than your best day in an inside! Seriously, there are no negatives that I can think of.

Private ocean front property
You can watch coming along side in your underwear. (better wear a robe though.)
