SERENADE TO PANAMA CANAL

Does anyone have some comments about the Serenade of the Seas cruise through the Panama Canal? Thank you

Hello bobpcoll, welcome to Cruise-Chat! I've been on Panama Canal cruises, but not on a "Radiance" class ship. My friends are on a Panama Canal cruise this week. They are on the Brillance, which is a "Radiance" class just like the Serenade. As of now, they're the largest cruise ships able to pass through the Panama Canal. The Serenade is one of the most beautiful ships on the seas.

If this is your first cruise on a "Radiance Class" ship you are in for a treat. They are our favorite size ships. We were on Jewel OTS (Sister ship) in February and just loved it. Goingthru the canal is a wonderful experience, we have done it twice and might do it again next year. Enjoy!!

Have not been thru the Panama Canal but we were on the Serenade this past Oct on a 15 night cruise to Hawaii.Out of 7 cruise's we have been on,some bigger and some smaller than the Serenade,it is our favorite ship.No crowded lines with great service and food. Matter of fact, we liked it so much,we are cruising on it again in May to Alaska !!! Hope this helps
