Cantilevered whirlpools

Not sure if I spelled that right - feel free to correct me.

ANYWAY - are these as cool as they sound? I was debating between the Liberty and Adventure, and it looks like we will be taking the Adventure. The ship looks great, but I have to admit that I am slightly dissappointed that I will not get to experience the special whirlpools or the flowrider.

I assume the whirlpools are full at most times, anyway. The flowrider looks like a ton of fun. But I suppose I shouldn't let small things like this ruin the fun

If someone could describe them, or even post pics, that would be great.

I know I'm probably the odd ball here, but I tried the whirlpools on the Freedom once and it really wasn't that big of a deal. It wasn't any different from just standing at the side of a ship looking into the water. And the chlorine they use, I know it has to be strong, but the fumes really burns my eyes. The flowrider was neat to see, but we didn't try it out. But hey, at least you are going on a cruise, that is always a good thing!

I agree that the cantilevered hot tubs are really not that spectacular. In the end they are just big hot tubs. To me is was more interesting to walk around outside the main dining rooms (deck 5 I think). You are standing outboard looking back at the main part of the ship. Great photo ops.

The flowrider is a great thing to either do or sit and watch. We had a floor show on the Liberty when a woman lost her bikini bottom. Poor thing was embarrassed to death!

Actually she had a t-shirt on, and the only way we knew she'd lost he bottoms was when she started screaming and her friends came rushing over with towels.

Wow! I thought I had read where everyone including women had to wear shorts to do the flow rider. I guess not!

Dave! You were supposed to make me feel better about going on the Adventure instead of the Liberty! I'm going to spend my entire cruise dissapointed that I never got to see any women lose their clothing during a spectacular wipeout!

Though the new wife may not have appreciated that anyway

The flow rider really does look awesome, though. (even without the extra show)
