I want to purchase a cruise package for my Mom and Aunt, but I know that they need their space. So my question is, can I purchase adjoining rooms for them individually, or do you have to have double occupancy in each room?
They will let you book adjoining rooms, but will probably charge you for double occupancy or maybe 1.5. I took a cruise by myself one year and they charged me for 2 people.

Please advise.
For one person in a room, Royal Caribbean will charge you two times the cruise rate, but just once for tax, so the price comes out to a little less than 200%. If the cruise fare is $1000 and tax is $160, the per-room price will be $2160.
