Cabins around Photo Place on Soverign of the Seas???

We are in the process of booking 8 cabins on Soverign of the Seas on Oct. 28th. We need some interior and some oceanview, preferably on the same deck.
The only interior rooms left on deck 3 are around the photo place. Can anyone tell me what the quality of those rooms will be? Will we hear the motors on deck 3? There are no higher decks that have interior and ocean available. Thanks in advance!

We stayed on deck 2 in 10/2004. Didn't hear any motor noise, so I wouldn't think you would have a problem on deck 3. As long as you are near mid ship you should be fine. We are going back on SOS this June, 2005, and staying on deck 2 again!! (Oceanview) Big group. 8 cabins.

We are traveling with so many couples who have never cruised before I wanted them to experience oceanview so we all just decided to book 9 floor rooms. Thanks for the infor though it will come in handy for the future!
