I was wondering if anyone new approx. how much a taxi cost for 2 from miami airport to where the ships are? is it cheaper to do a bus/shuttle service and if it is do i have to arrange ahead of time, or can i just sign up when i get to miami airport. thanks for all the help. My first cruise Sept 1 on Majesty of the Sea

I was too also wondering what is a better deal. I know that it does cost $10-20 per person for transfers, and you can buy them at the airport.Just look for the man or women holding the ships name that you are going on.Ask them to direct you to the desk and then you can purchase the transfers there. When are you cruising. Im leaving Friday to miami for two days, then going on the voyager sunday Aug-24..I can not wait.

That's a little far to walk! Seriously, you may be able to buy the transfers there, but if they are full, you will have to wait until there is a bus that is not full. You may want to arrange them ahead of time - but do it soon; usually the cruise line will cut off transfer reservations a week or two before the cruise. If you miss out, it's not a big deal, so you spend a little more on the taxi. Another possibility is Super Shuttle - also needing reservations ahead of time, but you can do it online and a few days in advance, I believe.

Thank you to all for all the advice. So if is less expensive to do a transfer from the airport than just catching a taxi.
