Thanksgiving on the Majesty

Wife and oldest daughter are taking two grandkids on a cruise to get them hooked like the rest of us. Looking for general info from someone who has sailed on the Majesty recently. Do they do anything special for the holiday.

My recollection from a Thanksgiving cruise years ago was that not much was made of it. They had turkey and dressing on the dining room menu that night. That is all I can recall. I hope someone with more recent experience can help here. I'd say the Thanksgiving experience will be the same on all RCI ships cruising from U.S. ports.

Glad to see you are breaking the grandkids in right! Never too early to infect someone with the cruise addiction.

That is pretty much what we figured for the dinner menu. We are celebrating Thanksgiving the weekend before anyway since I am not going with them.

We were trying to get all three of our kids and the five grandkids on the cruise in Oct, but we were surprised to learn there will be a sixth grandkid due in Dec. Now we have to plan one for late next year.

I'm trying to picture you as a grandfather! 6 of them...wow! And here I am going on 53 with a 14 year-old son.

Well it has been 24 years since we last saw each other. Our youngest is a junior in college.
