Hmmm... I would steer clear of any vacation involving Gloria Estefan. She was taking some time off from her tour in 1990 and she broke her back in a bus accident. After a lengthy recovery, in Sept. of 1995, she and her husband were enjoying a little cruise in their 33ft boat of the coast of Miami when a jet ski jumping the wake of their vessel collided and killed the pilot of the jetski and severely wounded his passenger. Yep, I would not cruise with her if I had a two category upgrade, free cocktails, a rabbit foot in each pocket and a four leaf clover clenched between my teeth.
No offense or disrespect intended. Just curious if you are self medicating?
Good news, Dave. I called Crown and Anchor and they credited me with some "missing" cruises that dated back into the early 90's. So now, I am officially a platinum member!
Now, more than ever, I want to get on a new RCI cruise to try out my new status!
Thanks for your help.

RCCL is running a July 4th sale. August 27th 4 night cruise on the Sovereign for $524 total for two people. That's a catagory M inside cabin. Regular price would be $704.
Just thought I'd let you know there's always a good price if you keep watch.
Dave, sounds like the cruise was great and I really enjoyed the pic in Labadee; I think I have one that I took from a similiar area last time we were there. Have to go back again just to experience the zip line If I dare. Also, I think somewhere in your posts you mentioned the lamb shanks; I was disappointed that they did not offer rack of lamb on our Explorer cruise 4/8 but had the shanks for first time and I have to now look for it in a cookbook to try myself.
Lamb showed up two or three times. The shanks and also lamb t-bone steaks - which were very good and an ample portion of two steaks too. I happen to like my lamb medium to medium rare and was not disappointed.
HI DAVE, JUST WONDERING IF THEY SERVE LOBSTER IN THE MAIN DINING ROOM ON THE LIBERTY OF THE SEAS? P.S. IT'S BEEN A PLEASURE READING YOUR REPORTS OF THE VACATION.
