tipping

My husband and I are going on our first cruise in Jan 07 on Navigator. We have never done this before, and our really going on a shoe string budget. In our payment for the holiday, tipping was included in the price. However I am a little concerned about how will the staff know that we have already paid for tips? I am worried that i will feel guilty for not tipping, when i have already payed for it.

THE STAFF WILL KNOW THAT THERE TIPS ARE PREPAID.
WE PREPAID OURS DURING THE CRUISE AND OUR CABIN STEWARD KNEW THAT WE DID THIS. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A VOUCHER FOR THE GRATUITY ENVELOPES DURING THE LATER PART OF YOU CRUISE

We usually pre-paid our tips. I don't really think the staff knows but it really doesn't matter. The service has always been great for us. There has also been times went we have given more than the suggested amount. Getting a voucher at the end of the cruise just seems to make it a little easier. The vouchers should only be for the waiter, assistant waiter, headwaiter, and your cabin stewart. If you are trying to cut your vacation costs I'm glad to hear you not cutting out their tips.
