What NOT to bring

My fiancee and I are starting to get ready for our honeymoon/first cruise (This September Vision of the Seas transition from Alaska to LA). We were wondering what types of things have people packed in the past that they didn't use at all. We're trying to bring as little as possible.

Hi, Congratulations on your honeymoon/first cruise! And, welcome to cruise-chat.
Please, don't bring an iron! You won't need a hair dryer, my wife always use to bring her own. I'm sure someone is going to post a packing list that you can go over.

Congratulations on the upcoming marriage. I am also getting married on December 31 and going on my second cruise (his first) for our honeymoon in January. I am somewhat **** when it comes to planning, so I have come up with a very extensive list of things to pack and helpful tips that I have accumulated from friends that cruise a lot more than I have. cruise diva missed the tennis sweater to tie around your neck and i dont see an ascot there either.

Why, not an Iron. I packed a small travel one, and there great. RCI dosen’t have them in the rooms and why pay them every time you want something ironed.

They say that it's a fire hazard lola-1 and they say don't bring one.
