HAS ANYONE SAILED ON THE "SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS" TO THE BAHAMA'S? AND IF SO HOW WAS IT? THIS WILL BE MY FIRST CRUISE AND I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE ABOUT IT. THANKS FOR ANY REPLIES.

Mark--We sailed her this past October 19th-our first cruise too! Absolutely loved it! The service was teriffic, Coco Cay is not to be missed! I've got some pictures posted at Webshots The ship is older and smaller than the mega-ships, but there were more than enough activities to keep anyone busy.
Try it, you'll love it!

I have sailed on the Sovereign and thoroughly enjoyed it. As this is an older ship the cabins are a bit smaller than what I have become used to, but overall it was a great cruise. I saw the ship in port, while on another cruise last week, and the recent addition of the rock climbing wall adds yet another postivie touch. I, too, will be sailing the Sovereign this next October. Does this ship rock or viberate? One my first cruise abard Carnival's Jubilee, the boat rocked and vibrated constantly! I remained dizzy a week after the cruise. Thanks so much!

We did not like Sovereign of the Sea. The ship is too old, needs work, had plumbing problems, needs to be kept cleaner. Carnival is much better for the same price.
