Thank you gentlemen, sincerely. Hey, I've had some great role models who share a similar bent on life. I won't forget my humble beginnings, and a little advice to all:
when Cheffy anf effie speak, listen up! I may be going a little incognito over the next month or two as I'm traveling to Nashville, Atlantic City, maybe Austin, Philadelphia, and Bend, OR for work related conferences (my wit is so in demand!).
Being on the taxpayer dollar, I have to arrange my travel through the guvmnt contractor, who of course, charges an average of 15% more than if I arranged for my own travel. I can't recall being carried by Northwest, except once, for my first two week training in 1990.
If it can be arranged (fenagled), I'll do it. If there's a long enough layover (10 minutes would work), it would nice to crack open a Charles B Mitchell Cabernet (boutique winery), but I can't put it in my carry on anymore. Let's see, I could ship it to you and.....
Was on the Granduer last summer and orange juice or lemonade was always available at the "free" coffee areas. And, of course, water there. The bottled water in the rooms, however, was $1.00 or so a bottle. Brought our own for excursions. No problem.
We were just on Enchantment and unless you got bottled water... water, tea, juice was free. At dinner we could order specialty tea without charge. Something new I did not know is they now charge for soda at dinner.
