Navigator of the Seas

I was just pricing up ideas for 2008 on Navigator of the Seas out of Southampton (as I thought it would be cheaper for us living in the UK) but the cruise prices are really expensive.
We are going on LOS in October and the OS we have was £2,600 ish on the NOS it would be £7,000 ish for the two of us, yes it is a 14 night cruise, but even so it seems alot more. Any idea why the prices seem so high? I think even the prices for a JS seems high, and a 10 night Canary cruise seems quite unaffordable too. It fustrates me that a ship of same size and quality is so much more expensive.

I think it's a matter of supply and demand. Price seem much higher when ships are nearly sold out. I was considering a trans Atlantic cruise in April of this year. It was 13 nights in a junior suite for only $1,300. The air fare, however, was as much as the cruise.

I also live in the U K and sailed on the nos for 7 days in the carib in jan, a large balcony cabin that we booked using a us t/a it cost without the flight £1300 for two or £2600 for 14 days and I was looking at it for sept in the med but we are going on the carn triumph instead cat 11 cabin 7days for £1200, why, kalo taxidi
