Mariner of the Seas

I will be selecting a balcony cabin on Mariner of the Seas and don't know if it would be better to select one on the bump or one on the flat side of the ship. Is the balcony on the bump any larger? Is the view better? I'm frugal and will probably choose the cheapest balcony, deck 6, but I certainly could be convinced to upgrade to a more expensive cabin. I appreciate any anvice.

Hi Marian,
Welcome to cruise-chat! If I can recall correctly, the staterooms on the ends of each bump have a slighly larger balcony, but not so those in the middle of the bump. As the elevator and stairs are directly across from the staterooms on the bump, I might choose another location, all things being equal.
