I was told by a few people that they have a laundromat on the ship where you can wash your own clothes rather than having them do it for you at a minimal price. Is this true? If so we don't have to take as many clothes and will save on luggage space! Excited as we are first time cruisers and leave in 9 days!! We are on the"Navigator"
21 cruises and we've never had to wash anything...usually we have clothing leftover that never got worn.....but if you do need to do some laundry, hang it in the shower....Remember, you are on vacation and nobody really cares what you are wearing and if it's wrinkled...Just go and have a smashing good cruise...
It's too bad they don't have selfserv laundry. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to pack so much in a few year when we go on the Oasis. I've already been experimenting with a carryon for my cruise in May. At least they'll have laundry. I don't like to have to pack so much for a week. Can anyone actually get by with only a carryon for 8 days, and no laundry. What do you pack?
Just how big is your carryon?...I don't think I could get a 7-9 cruise in a carryon....unless you are planning on living in shorts and t-shirts...but as stated here, you can get your clothes washed for a fee.....I guess you could wear many layers of clothing on the plane....and put the rest in the carryon....Whatever you decide, just have a great cruise..
Well I know I can pack: 4 shorts,4shirts,2skirts,4 bouses,2bathing suits,1coverup,8 panties, 2 socks, 2 nylons,1pair dress shoes, sandels, Flat iron for hair toothpaste and toothbrush and a small shampoo/conditioner. I will pack make-up,deodorant,purfume,documents and passports, camera, sunglasses and sunlotion in a big purse. I will wear pants, shirt, runners and a light jacket and fany pack. Did I forget anything?
