Can somebody please help me with this, are they going to keep doing this on the Freedom or is it just a test run. How do you sign up for it? How does it work?

Hi Angel,

It's called "My Time Dining". You have to let you travel agent know if you want it. It's an experiment Royal Caribbean is conducting on the Freedom, Brilliance, and the Serenade of the seas. You won't have assigned seating, instead, you just to show up at the main dining room between the hours of 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and they will seat you and your party.

Princess lines has the same thing..called Personal Choice....NCL started it with Freestyle Cruising...I prefer it myself, but some still like the more formal seating...I like it because I can eat when I'm hungry and not rushed coming back from an excursion...but either way is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick....Happy eating and Happy Cruising...

I think it would be great for a longer cruise. Maybe when my transatlantic cruise comes up in April they'll have it on the Navigator; that would be perfect.

Angel, all we would have to do is show up together. After a toast at in the Concierge lounge, of course.
