My fiancee and I are seriously close to booking the Adventure of the Seas departing June 1, 2003. We are getting married May 31, 2003. This is the itinary that goes from San Juan to Aruba, Curaco, St. Maarten, & St. Thomas. What is the embarkation like from San Juan? We would be flying in from Toronto and I already know there are no direct flights. We plan to get a balcony cabin.

I have cruised before but my fiancee has not.
Any reviews, suggestions, advice????

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Well I personally wanted to go on the same cruise that your thinking about, but my husband wanted to go on the new Navigator of the Seas, so he chose this time. I liked the ports of call better on the Adventure. When we were married we went on a cruise for our honeymoon and just loved it. We are hooked on the whole cruising experience, by time our third anniversary rolls around we will have been on three cruises. We love the whole idea about unpacking once and not having to rent a car. Cruising is what you make of it and we have always had a wonderful time. We almost booked our honeymoon at Sandals, but for the money we just liked the cruise better. We felt that for a lot less money we got more. Good luck with any decision you make.
