Hi, We are surprising my parents with a Grand Ocean View suite on deck 8! Its there 50th anniversary. Please tell me about it and will there be any noise issues because deck 9 is right above? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was on deck 8 in October. There are no noise issues. The Enchantment is a great ship!

Sonny, were you right under the Windjammer? I have read where others in the GOS had some morning noise from chairs above them being moved around breakfast time??? Its cabin number
8534? Anybody else stayed in any of the these suites?

I wouldn't be too concerned about noise. I've been under the windjammer a number of times and can't remember hearing anything like chairs being moved. I would say any stateroom is quieter than any hotel room I've been in.
