I know I can pre-order the Champagne and Chocolate-dipped strawberries but I'd prefer just plain strawberries. Can I just order a bottle of champagne and a cup of strawberries from room service?
I don't think so. Fruit is listed on the room service menu, but what they bring is usually a bowl of cut up melon, cantelope, grapes. Don't think I've seen strawberries listed separately.

I guess you mean the champagne and chocolate-strawberry combo from the cruise gifts catalog. All I can say is call (800) 722-5443 and ask if the strawberries can be plain.
I am not a huge fan of chocolate, but for our anniversary, our cabin steward arranged for just plain strawberries to be delivered to our room. I got what I wanted and he got a very nice tip. Gotta love capitalism at its finest. And in answer to your question, Corkgirl. On that particular cruise, we were not in a suite.
