Are there family suites?

Does anyone know if there are any suites on any of the ships that room 5 people?

We had 5 of us from one family last time and we got a 3rd guest discount for the 5th person but since we were in 2 rooms that was the only break we got.

I saw one ship that had family suite listed but I guess it was booked b/c there was no pricing available.

What ship? Yes, there are family suites on RCCL ships. Your travel agent should be able to tell you whats available.

I think we were looking on Freedom and Liberty. I was pleasently surprised when we returned home from Sovereign that hubby- the non traveler was trying to book us on a christmas cruise. Freedom and liberty is what we want to do- to Cozumel, Labedee, jamaica ...along those lines...were surprised at the price- esp since there are 5 of us. But we are presently contemplating driving to save the airfare...then we can go on the newer ships.

Would we get like a full fare for guest 1 and 2 and then a lower fare for 3, 4 AND 5?

Why is it they never have info listed? do they book first?

The Grand, Owner, Royal, and Family suites aren't listed. If you call RCCL they will give you the rates for a Family Suite. Christmas cruises seem to be a bit pricey. Early December prices are usually a bargin.

We noticed that and will most likely do early december because of hubbys work schedule and the price difference as well.

Is it any cheaper to do a family suite like that for 5 than to do two rooms with 3 and 2? or do they all even out in the long run.

Sorry, there are no family suites available on either the Freedom or the Liberty for the month of December. The Mariner has availabilty on Dec 2nd. Here's another option you may want to consider: Ajointing D-1 staterooms. This way you have two bathrooms and two T.V.s. With a door between the two cabins it's almost like one cabin but more privacy. Three in one cabin will get you a discount on the third person. Also, if you book the Freedom or the Liberty your balconies can be opened.
