I am a first time cruiser and we are going on the Serenade of the Seas to the Southern Carribean. I would like to know if you are required to go to all formal dinners or do you have the option to just do your own thing. Any information on this ship would be helpful! Thanks Lynn
You can do anything you want for dinner. It is not mandatory to eat at the fixed timings in the dining hall. You can order room service or go upto the windjammer, or else eat at one of the many specialty rest.(reservations required)
Sonu is correct, you don't have to go to the dining room at all if you don't want to and if you look at other posts formal nights are not all that formal.
Dining room attire is discusse thoroughly on this site, just look for the posts. The Windjammer that Sonu mentioned is a buffet.
