I agree with you, Trvlpro. We went with large a local agency for our group cruise because we thought we would get better service. It didn't turn out to be true in our case. They assigned us to an agent that was inefficient. When she went on vacation for 2 months we got another agent who did a great job. However in the meantime I found an online/phone-call-away agent that has been great to work with. You just never know. If you find a good agent, local or online, stick with her/him.

Agutaya, thanks for the post. It is appreciated. Like anything else in life where people are involved, there are good ones and those that took the job for the pay-check. I know first hand of a great agency with some pretty poor agents. Thankfully they don't last long. But in the next training class there will be some more. Also in that next class there will be some who will excell and become great agents. So goes life.
