Leaving on June 6th on SOS. Cocoa Cay, and Nassau. Went on it last 10/2004. Didn:t make Coco Cay (hurricnae got it) Any info on updates. How does she look now? Ship was in horrible condition 10/2004. Hope it bounced back?

I heard that the ship, has had a face lift and that it looks great. My sister's and I will be going on the same cruise also. This will be our first cruise. I can't wait.

Are you going on june 6th? We went on it in 10/2004, and she was ailing for repairs. I think we should have a great time. we missed Coco cay in October. Hopefully we'll get there this time. We won the "Quest" game in October. We had a blast. We have 15 people in group in June!!!

My wife and I ages 37 and 38 went on the SOS in August 2003 with our daughter and her friend both age 12 at the time. We have cruised now 4 times on all different ships. I would be more that happy to go on the Soveriegn again. Some people will look for a reason not to enjoy a cruise. They may think they are not particular but in reality they are a pain the the @#$#$. If it is in the capability of the staff to help you the generally will. I am a very friendly person and will seek out the bartender or waiter that seems willing to go the extra mile. I will tip him well, remember his/her name and try to frequent them as much as possible. A good Idea that I got off of this site was to carry aroung $2 bills. Whenever you are treated well tip with the $2 bill. They will remember you from the odd denomination. I usually go to the bank and get about 200 of these for the trip. They work great for tips..

We are booked on the May 23 (4 day) sailing on SOS. Any additional hints on Port Canaveral? Does the ship load from port or starboard? This will be our second cruise and we are ready to go!!!
I agree with Arthur T; some folks just HAVE to be critical and will whine about the smallest discrepancy. Others I think just like to spread an agenda favoring another cruise line. Ooops, did I say that??

Show up early. The paper work and travel agents will tell you that board starts at 2pm but it always starts early. Usually you can get on the ship by noon. Port Canaveral is easy to get around you should have no problems.

Have a great trip. I am sailing on the Carnival Holiday over new years. Long time to wait.

Perhaps if you tear the $2 bills in half, give them one half, and tell them if you are satisfied at the end of the cruise, they will get the other half.
