Roll call Mariner 10/9/05...and should I pack a towel?

Anyone else out there on RC Mariner 10/9/05? Just curious...Also, since this is my first cruise wondering if I should pack a towel for day trips - or does ship provide towels for excursions?...same question applies to pool towel...suggestions appreciated!

On all of the cruises that I have been on, towels have been provided at the pool and then again on the ship for your excursions. You usually have to sign for them with your room key. If they are not returned you are then charged accordingly. However, there are usually bins of towels left unattended at the pool areas, so needless to say I have never went without. On one cruise I even had a cabin attendent pack 2 new towels in my luggage as a Thank You for our generous tip.

our first cruise we packed beach towels and never used them.. We have been on 3 RCCL cruises and never had to sign for any towels... We usually have 2 in our room at a time and when we use them our cabin attendant replaced them with fresh ones.
