Voyager of the Seas Bathrooms with Bathtub...

Can anyone share info on the Voyager of the Seas Cabins with Bathtubs...I'm considering a cruise to the mediteranean either the end of October or November and wonder if the weather will be too cool to use the hot tubs (which I believe are all outside) then I would like to know if the Bathtubs would be a good substitute to soak in should I need too?

Also, all pools seem to be outside..did I gather that correctly?

In addition does anyone know a website for the temperature averages for the Mediterranean ports for October/November?

If you want a bathtub you need to look at suites. Standard cabins have showers - small showers.

The Solarium pool is more enclosed than the main pools, but there is no magrodome from my recollection. So I guess the answer to your question is yes, all the pools are outside.

Lots of weather websites out there. This one shows basic temperatures for October and November. Not sure why it excludes December through February.

Dave, I believe Voyager's Solarium area does have the magrodome above.

Well, if it does it isn't noticeable. There is some confusion about this matter. The RCI website says there is a dome, but I'll be danged if I can see it in the photos or virtual tour. Some other forums have notes that specifically say there is no dome on the Voyager, and some others say there is! I know these things are rarely used and therefore many of us never realize they exist.

Dave, I was on a pre-inaugural cruise on Voyager in 1999 and there was definitely a dome above the Solarium. Unless it has been taken away, it's still there.

There is also the mineral spa in the work out area. It's a big jazzui and there's a shower room next to it.

Its NEVER too cold for hottubs. My personal record is 4F with no wind. As mentioned, the solarium's tubs are somewhat covered. Take a wrap and deck shoes and you will be fine. The problem, at least on Voyager is finding one that is actually hot. There are two tubs in the solarium and I think 4 in the main pool area. Late at night, when we most want to use them, and they are the least crowded, they typically close most of them and leave one of them open in each area. The maddening part was in the solarium, one was around 102F and the other was below 98F and the cooler one was the one they left open.
