do i have everything i need?

i am leaving for the bahamas on oct 9 and am TERRIFIED i am going to get to the ship and find out i didn't bring some vital piece of paperwork that i need. so if someone could help ease my mind i would greatly appreciate it. we have our set sail pass, our birth certificate/passport, disembarkation/ embarkation cards for the bahamas, and the book that royal caribbean sent us with a cruise ticket and charge account contract. also, my name is different on my birth certificate so i have a copy of my marriage license as well. does this sound like everything?

First off sether, calm down and take a deep breath. You will be fine. Sounds like you have everything in order. If this is your first cruise, you will be amazed since you have all documentation completed that the embarkation process will go smoothly.

It may seem silly.. but you didn't mention it.. and if you're planning on using your birth certificate instead of a passport.. you will need your Drivers License. If you're like me, you don't like to carry a bunch of stuff and you don't like to have to dig for stuff when you are ready to check in. Keep your DL with the rest of your check in stuff. where does one get disembarkation/ embarkation cards for the bahamas ?

Moonster~ You can get those items on the RCCL site. Also.. I wanted to comment on your posting. I noticed that it's showing the HTML code instead of your countdown. Try going back to the caribbeanmag site and copying the code that is bb something or another- but it's not the HTML one.. I had the same problem initially.

We were told that we NEEDED a passport! We were not given an option. But we are not cruising until next October, maybe that is the difference? If that is wrong, we could have saved a whole lot of money buying three passports for our family!

You were told correctly, anyone leaving on a cruise after December 31st 2006 has to have a passport. The law actually does not go into effect until January 8, 2007, but most cruiselines are enforcing the rule as of the 31st of Dec.
