Balcony, Mariner of the Seas

We booked superior balcony cabins on deck six, a little behind the bump and the elevators, where the interior cabins start, on the left side if you were looking down on the ship.

My question is do you see the lifeboats below when you are on the balcony? Do you have to hang over the balcony to see them or are the fairly noticeable.

I would love to hear from anyone who's had a balcony on deck 6.

U haven't had a balcony on the Mariner on deck 6, but am familiar with the setup on the Mariner. The lifeboats are tucked well inside the ship's outer exterior. They hang inside the chelter of the ship protected fromt he elements and weather. You should have little vision of thme unless you are actually looking over your railing. Even then, they would not be invasive.

Oh, good! Thanks Tom. I booked this cruise for my husband and me and friends who have never cruised before. I want this to be a really special cruise for them and I'm second guessing myself to death.
