Hurrican season

i am going on a 4night cruise to the bahams-key west- and cococay- in the middle of oct. should i be worried about hurricans?

The hurricane season ends in October. Nothing to worry about even if one did pop up. The cruise lines know how to handle things.

Hurricanes are very rare in Oct even though the season ends Nov 30. Have a great trip, like Sonny said these ships/captains know what they're doing!
(They are you know, in the business to make money!)

speaking of this topic...we are booked on the liberty sept 6 2008...i chose sept because the last 2 cruises we did were in may and then june...both cruises we had rain the ENTIRE time...i was hoping sept. weather would be better but based on this sept im scared...any one booked during these storms or just get back?

I just got off the Mariner on September 9th. Our cruise was smooth.
