You should not have to "pretend" to be booking a new cruise. I checked yesterday on RCCL's website and found that they had dropped the price on our Mariner cruise. So I called them and told them what I saw and when they confirmed the price drop, they promptly changed my "balance due" amount (I have not paid the post deposit balance yet). I saved $400! The specialist said to keep an eye on it (like I wasn't going too?)and call back if I saw another drop or special. That's what I call customer service. Why should I have to pay more because I booked early?
