Royal Carribean Freedom of the Seas prices!!!!!

I called Royal Carribean and asked the cheapest time to go on the freedom of the seas, with even that they quoted me 1800.00 dollars per person for the first two. Does anyone know why they are so much higher or where to get a cheaper balcony on the freedom. The wateer park on the ship looks great.

Pricing for the Freedom and Liberty is what it is because of demand. They charge more than the other ships because they can, and they can still fill the ship. Sort of like trying to get a good deal on a Honda Accord 20 years ago. If you didn't pay the price then the next person in the door would.

Try to find a group booking on the Freedom. These can be cheaper.

if you're looking for a fairly cheap cruise on a "Freedom"-class vessel, have a look at "Independence of the Seas'" trans-Atlantic crossings.

Thanks Guys. I was really hoping for the freedom because of the water park for my 9 year old son, he would love it. Was also hoping somewhere out there someone had a super secret place to find deals,ha!

I just checked the website for Freedom-there are several dates in September, October and November, 2008 where Freedom goes to the Western & Eastern Caribbean, and a balcony room is less than $1000.00 each. Have a look-those dates are listed as "Hot" dates.
