Adventure of the Seas

I'm thinking about booking a 7 night Southern Caribbean on the AOS. We were on Freedom of the Seas a couple of weeks ago and I'm worried we might be disappointed with the Adventure. Do you think this will be a problem? Any information on the Adventure of the Seas would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

I don't think AOS would be disappointing at all. I did this ship in Sept and she's a great ship with a great itinerary.

I have been on both ships. I was just on the Adventure Dec 9th. Can you expand on why you think you would be disappointed? What is it you think will be different? Other then the flow rider, H20, and a boxing ring, (None of which I use), I see little difference in the ships. As with any cruise line, and any ship, you may have a different shipboard experience based on client mix and crew mix.

I thought it might be a little disappointing because its older and smaller but from what I've read now about this class in general I think I was wrong about that.
One other question, Is she still in good condition?

AOS is in very good condition. RCI takes very good care to make sure their entire fleet is clean and well maintained. They can start to show a little wear around the edges as they approach refurbish date. I don't know how long since the last refurb or when the next is scheduled but I didn't see anything in Sept that would lead me to believe she was due.

It look like a new ship for all I know...
It not as big as other ship but remebember that the ports are great Puerto Rico,Aruba, st thomas, st Martin and curacao the best islands on the caribbean so maybe bigger is not better. Just try it you will not be disappointed

The Adventure is in excellent shape. Frankly, I doubt you will even notice a difference in size.

Most people believe there is a huge difference in the size of a Voyager class and Freedom class ship. The biggest difference to me is the cantilevered jaccuzies. However, when the Genesis is built...
