Just got back from a wonderful cruise on the Explorer of the Seas. We had suite 1608. It was very nice (smaller and more condensed than on the Navigator though) . There was a slight problem and I'm wondering if I might have missed it when I made the reservation.

The balcony was one large portion and then a two foot piece of steel from top to bottom and then a smaller (very small) piece of balcony. This did not obstruct movement on the balcony, but it certainly took away from the view. Anyone else ever had this happen before and is there a way to tell ahead of time that I may have missed? I want to book another cruise but want to make sure that this does not happen again.

Thanks !
