Hello all I was wondering if on the Freedom they serve escargot in any of the resturants specialty or otherwise. Don't know if I spelled it right but you know (snails in garlic sauce).
I've never tried it and I want to while I am on this cruise.
I can't speak for Freedom, but Mariner had them as an appatizer-I don't think I spelled that right either-they were wonderful. I hope you get a chance to try them too-Wonderful stuff!
Jim is right, they are served as appetizers. Come to think of it, I didn't see it on the menu when I was on the Freedom. But then again, my wife orders every thing for me.
They had them on the menu. I think it was the first formal night.
I am exceedingly fond of escargots and always get it. In fact I often order two servings. Make sure you have enough crusty bread or rolls to sop up the butter and garlic sauce.
I love them too. I always get 2 orders of them. And If I am at a table where people have not had them I get one for them to try, you'd be surprised at the people who love them afterwards. On some of my way earlier cruises they actually had really good frog legs in drawn butter yummy, wish RCCL would get on that kick also.
