What are the balconies like?

My husband and I are booked to cruise on "Navigator of the Seas" in May/June 2006. This is the first time we have cruised and we are really looking forward to it - however in reading the reviews we still have a few unanswered questions.... For instance, we have booked a balcony - what size are they and do they have sunbeds/umbrellas/ etc??

It all depends on the staeroom you choose. But balconys of any size are great and very relaxing! Enjoy!

We were on a balcony on Adventure of the Seas last summer, and I will never go back to a regular OV cabin!! We were on the 6th deck, so the bottom of our railing was metal. . . The balconies on the decks above us had plexiglas, so they were able to see through the lower portion of the rail. However, it didn't bother us.

Our balcony ha two chairs and a small table on it. .. I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed sitting on it in the morning as we pulled into port or in the evening as we pulled out. . . .One of my favorite things was sitting on it during the afternoon we were in Barbados. I was reading, and down below a steel drum band played. It was wonderful!

On the Navigator last year we had 9690 aft cabin. It was a triangler shaped balcony but we had a chair and a lounger and a little table.

On the normal shaped balconies 2 loungers are standard.

Unless you have a aft cabin or a suite your balcony will be about 4' deep and 10' wide. Aft cabin balconies are much larger 10'x12'. Take a look >
